To recognise the significant impact the partnership has been making over the last few years, Kelly Holmes chose the Shepway SSP, as the place to see during a day visit to Kent.
Having heard about the visit just before the school half term holidays, the partnership set about organising what we hoped would be a fun packed morning, with the heading Gladiators Ready!!
We invited 24 of our schools to come along on the day and to either be a part of the presentation in the morning, the first thing that Kelly saw or to be part of the Gladiators activitiies taking place across the morning in the sports hall and gym.
Kelly spent over 2 hours with the partnership and their schools, speaking to the young people, taking part in Wake and Shake and Running the Gauntlet in the sports hall.
