On Monday 17th November the Folkestone Academy and Pent Valley Families held their first Multi-Skills festival of the year at Pent Valley. 120 year 1 and 2 pupils had the chance to try out 12 stations of new skills and challenges. The stations were led by leaders from Pent Valley who did a fantastic job of teaching and encouraging the children.
All of the schools were assigned an animal as a team theme for the day and all of the children had made masks to represent their animal. There were some fantastic efforts and some of these can be seen along with some action shots in the Gallery section now!
Well done to everyone who took part, it was a fantastic festival which was a lot of fun to run. Miss George did a fantastic job of leading the event on the day so a big thank you to her for all her hard work.
We look forward to seeing more great animal masks at other festivals later in the year!!!!
