Thursday the 5th December saw the Brockhill Family and Harvey Grammar School Family come together for their first Outdoor Adventurous Activities Festival at Folkestone Sport Centre.
Over 60 children took part in various activities including; learning compass bearings, experiencing the loss of sight, word searches and hoop team racing! The stations were designed to make the children think about the task in hand and work out the best way they could complete it.
The children had to nominate a team leader for each task. After the children completed each station they had to evaluate their performance, giving themselves a green, amber or red card depending on how they felt they performed as a team.
Congratulations to the Castle Hill Girls team, who won the event!! Boys beware!
Thank you to the teachers for bringing the children along and taking part in the festival, and a huge thank you to the Brockhill Sports Leaders who excelled again in their roles proving they are developing into very competent and professional Sports Leaders - well done guys you made me proud!!
