Partnership Rounders Festival at FSG

Nine excited teams took to the field on an absolutely perfect morning at The Folkestone School for Girls. Teams from Castle Hill, St Eanswythe's, Highview and Sandgate lined up for their briefing, in glorious sunshine.

The group round matches were an opportunity for the participants and staff to brush up on their rules as they played and each game produced some fantastic rounders.

The finals saw Highview, Castle Hill 2 and St Eanswythe's 3 battle it out for 7th-9th place. Castle Hill 2 were placed 7th, Highview 8th and St Eanswythe's 3 9th.

4th - 6th places were taken by Sandgate 2 - 4th, Sandgate 3 - 5th and St Eanswtythe's 2- 6th

The play-offs for 1st, 2nd and 3rd were a close battle between Castle Hill 1, Sandgate 1 and St Eanswythe's 1. The standard of the matches was incredibly high, with hugely impressive fielding skills on permanent display. Castle Hill eventually ran out as winners with Sandgate 1- 2nd and St Eanswythe's 3 - 3rd .
