On Tuesday 15th June 2010 7 teams of cricketers from St. Augustines, Lympne and Palmarsh took part in the Brockhill Park Kwik Cricket Festival at Hythe Cricket Club. The windy event was filled with great play and excellent team spirit which ensured all teams played 6 games in a round robin format. Despite running over time all teams finished with a smile on their face and awaited the final scores.
The overall positions were as follows:
St. Augustines 3 - 7th place
St. Augustines 2 - 6th place
Palmarsh 2 - 5th place
St. Augustines 4 - 4th place
Palmarsh - 3rd place
St. Augustines 1 - 2nd place
Lympne - 1st place
Both Lympne and St. Augustines were invited to the finals the following week to compete against other winners in the family festivals. Good luck and well done to all teams!
