On Thursday 13th May 2010 10 teams of 5 Year 1 students from Lympne, Sellindge and St. Augustines took part in a Multiskills Festival at Brockhill Park led by year 9 BTEC Sport students. The leaders took responsibility for assessing the risk prior to completing all activities and ensured everyone was safe throughout the afternoon.
All teams took part in a circuit of ten events to include a mini-basketball relay, the egg and spoon race and a space hopper relay. The activities planned tested the challengers co-ordination, balance and speed. Teams of 5 had to work well together to complete as many relays as possible in 3 minutes. Our overall winners were the bees from Sellindge, closely followed by the flamingos from St. Augustines and the lions from Lympne.
Congratulations to all teams who took part and to the leaders who confidently led their first festival. Well done! Jaffa cakes all round!

Congratulations to St. Eanswythe's 1s on winning the High 5 Netball League! After 36 matches, the title was decided on the final game of the league.
