Multi Skills Academy Gifted and Talented WK 3
Fifty budding young sports people have been taking part in the partnerships Gifted and Talented Multi Skills Academy at the Harvey Grammar School. Pupils from year 6 and 7 were selected by a team of coaches who visited each school in the partnership.
In the third session of six, the academy members took part in a 10 metre sprint challenge, activities to improve their throwing and catching skills and balance and stability tasks.
Leaders from Harvey Grammar School assisted the SSCo team to deliver the sessions which aim to develop their generic sporting skills.
The remaining three will explore other areas of physical activity including; endurance, flexibility, core conditioning, co-ordination and team work.
