The Shepway Sports Partnership will host a Prize Giving Evening on Friday 25th June from 6-8.30pm at Folkestone Academy to recognise the sporting achievements of our young Primary and Secondary athletes. The evening will include an inpirational speech from an Olympic guest speaker, local school performances and presentation of awards. Nomination forms will be issued at the start of term 5 but please start thinking about the following categories to nominate your students and coaches:
Primary School Awards:
Individual Performance of the Year
Best single performance by an individual during the year
Team Performance of the Year
Best single performance by a team during the year
Sports Team of the Year
Best team achievement in the past year
Achievement in the face of adversity
Best achievement of an individual who is able to overcome obstacles to achieve their best
Primary School of the Year
Recognising the achievement of Primary schools throughout the year
Prince Young Leader of the Year Award
Young leader demonstrating outstanding leadership skills in any activity
Top Up Swimmer of the Year
Individual who has excelled as a result of dedication and participation in the Top Up Swimming project.
Virtual Challenger of the Year
Highest achieving individual scores on all online challenges (KS1/KS2)
G & T Student of the Year
Best achieving results in the G & T assessment.
Secondary School Awards:
Commitment to sport
Individual who shows an outstanding contribution to school and/or community sport
Individual Performance of the Year
Best single performance by an individual during the year
Team Performance of the Year
Best single performance by a team during the year
Individual Excellence
Individual who has excelled in their sport and excelling in performance by representing a club, county or country
Girls Sports Team of the Year
Best team achievement in the past year
Boys Sports Team of the Year

Secondary School of the Year
