League night off to a flyer!

Thursday the 22nd October saw the first night of our respective Basketball and Futsal leagues. With a good representation from Schools in the partnership and some fantastic School kits the night was a huge success. The Harvey Grammar School sports hall was jam packed with staff, pupils and supportive parents keen to show their support for the Futsal teams. Meanwhile the Harvey Gym was the venue for a basketball masterclass and mini tournament.

With the new adopted rules of boys and girls in the teams introduced to make for a better competition there were some fantastic team and individual displays. Leading the way at the half way point are All Souls, closely pursued by Christchurch and Dymchurch, who with a game in hand, remain in close contention. A special thank you to Mr Castle for overseeing the nights proceedings on the futsal front and to Gill for doing the same with the basketball. We look forward to the next league night on the 9th November. See you all there!
