On Tuesday 20th October the Shepway School Sport Partnership's SSCo'sand PLT's got together for their second PLT day of the year where they were trained in the use of the Val Sabin dance resource. The majority of the day was spent developing an understanding of the key concepts of dance and then applying them to a variety of different situations.
At various points throughout the day, people could be seen experimenting with Dinosaurs, the Haka, Washing day, Making Friends, Electricity, Jack and the Beanstalk and Recycling. Gill has evidence of this all on video should anyone want to relive the experience!
The day was a brilliant opportunity to experience a huge number of different dances that can be taken back to Primary Schools and introduced to the pupils and we were lucky to spend the day with such a knowledgeable and enthusiastic trainer.
