Shepway School Games Year arrives
We are pleased to be able to announce that Pent Valley Technology College has been designated the new hubsite for the Shepway School Games programme 2011 - 2013. They will lead on the development and delivery of the national School Games programme and be the hubsite for PE, School Sport and Competition across the whole of the district.
With the new but not so new School Game Coordinator, Gill Prince firmly in place at Pent Valley, we have been working behind the scenes over the last few weeks to get everything ready for the launch on Thursday.
On Thursday 24th Nov all PE coordinators from all the primary and special schools in Shepway will join us to discover what the School Games programme means for Shepway as an area and the exciting projects planned, which we hope will make the Olympics and Paralympics a reality for young people across Shepway district.
