The partnership have been really lucky over the last 4 years to have worked with a huge number of extremely dedicated, enthusiastic and professional Primary Link Teachers, many of whom joined as PLT's at the start and remain today commited to improving and providing high quality PE and Sport opportunities for their pupils.
We are well aware that the partnerships figures would not be as they are today without all those PLT's that spend so much of their free and school time involved in delivering and supporting PE in schools, developing after school opportunities and enabling their pupils to experience new aand exciting sporting competitions, growing as performers.
This year the partnership plans to put the PLT Mentor system to good use through a more coordinated approach. Sharon Hutley will be in charge of this programme and will coordinate the support of PLT Mentors throughout the year. Schools will have the opportunity to access our specialists to support new teachers, PE specifics like gymnastics delivery, assisting in engaging hard to reach groups, safe practise advise, swimming support and a wholde host of other areas.
Schools will be asked to complete a proforma on the first PLT day highlighting their areas of need.
Alternatively Sharon can be contacted below if you have any questions or would like to book a PLT Mentor for this year.
