Challenge Day Project 2010 - 2011

The aim of a Challenge Day is to provide schools and pupils with a meaningful intra school competition format, that not only promotes competition within school but also encourages pupils to set and beat personal bests.

The partnership have commissioned PACE Development this year to assist us and schools in the delivery fo Challenge Days. Each targeted school will receive 1 Whole School Challenge Day for FREE delivered by PACE and their team of coaches. Every pupil in every year group will have the opportunity to take part in 4 challenges based around festival skills including golf, sportshall athletics and speed stacks. Each pupil will receive a personal best score that will be entered onto the Virtual Challenge section of the website.

Schools will then be asked to deliver 2 more Challenge Days, the second Challenge Day will be delivered with the support of PACE (FREE to the school) and the 3rd Challenge Day delivered by the school on their own.

The following schools are confirmed for this year and will shortly be receiving a letter of confirmation: Brenzett Primary, Dymchurch Primary, Folkestone Academy Primary, Harcourt Primary, Sandgate Primary, Mundella Primary, Hythe Bay Primary, Lydd Primary, The Churchill Primary and All Souls Primary.
